I found a 1994 service manual at goldwingdocs.com that looks pretty close to my 1998. I think you should be able to use the speaker removal instruction from that. I'm going to have a go at it tomorrow since mine are shot. Just bought the '98 for a good price but it has some little flaws like bad speakers and needed a new battery. Hope this helps.

Change front speakers


If you intent to change the speakers because it is damaged then a new set of speakers can be put into the section but if this is a case to improve the front perfomance then you will need to choose from the SAME fittings higher wattage/higher sensitivity speakers. Make sure that the polarity is correct when the old one is replaced so that the sound phasing is not cancelled.

I was changing front passenger side tire when lug nuts snapped bolt off. How do I change lug bolts out to new one. Plan to change all for bolts and lug nuts for this tire.

Centre Channel speaker has stopped working


connect any speaker instead of center speaker if you get the same result you will have a problem in amp itself if the problem fixed change center speaker with a new one
