Question about 2000 Honda VT 1100 C3 Shadow Aero
This is what is called the guide plug leak. Not a big deal. Go to the Delphi All Aero forums and find out the how to fix. Do a temp quick fix, (Lasted me over 50,000 miles) or do permanent fix. Not a big deal. To stop the drip take a screwdriver and rotate it to the right until it hits the stop. Then do the fix. Dont go to stealership where they will take your money.

There is a crankcase plug just above the water pump hose, it is either not installed right or the o-ring is bad. You have to pull the water pump hose off to see it, but the plug simply twists and comes out, or if it loose try twisting it the other way and the leak will stop.
