The clutch release lever is that arm sticking out of the side of the bell housing for the gear box
On most vehicles it cannot be removed from the outside but only if the gear box is pulled
As it is just a lever mounted on a ball and has fingers on either side of the throw out bearing there is no reason to remove it
comment on why you want to remove it
SOURCE: clutch release lever has no pressure clutch stays engaged. just replaced clutch and everything else
The clutch pedal is attached to a semi gear assembly that self adjusts to any changes in clutch position. The most common problem is that the plastic gear has stripped. The other common problem is that the clutch cable has broken. Repair is simple but you will need an estimate before any repairs are done. Typical time should be 1-2 hours shop time, plus parts.
