Go to autozone and get you some seafoam... put it in your tank per the instuctions on the bottle, I know I give this answer to alot of questions related to fuel problems, but most fuel problems are dirty carb related and seafoam cleans the entire fuel system better than any other product I can think of.
I am not familiar with the M50, but if there isn't a fuel filter between the tank and fuel pump...then it probably just has screens inside the tank... and maybe you sucked a bunch of gunk to the screens when it ran low on fuel..if that is the case, sea foam will fix it.
Good luck
I am in need of a gas filter for a 2008 M-50. It is located inside the gas tank and is attached to the fuel pump. Where can I purchase one... or two of them at reasonable prices???
