2003 Olds Alero keeps blowing fuse For dash and tail lights

Likely there's a wire loose that's shorting to the chassis. The way I troubleshoot these is to put a lightbulb in the fuse socket, and then go under the dash, and move stuff around while somebody watches the light. When it goes on, you're close to the problem. Yeah, it's a royal pain, but that's the best way I know.

How to change lightbulb in Air Electronic SU TSP Jubilee 500 and Carinas

If you own an Elna Air Electronic and blow a lightbulb then here is the instructions to change it. The lightbulb will be a bayonet fitting 15w but maybe remove old one first to make sure you get the right length bulb at the shop.

Firstly unplug the machine. Take your mini screwdriver that came in your kit and look at the top of the machine above the needle. There is a little hole there, put the screwdriver into the hole and push down on it, this lowers the bulb holder in the head of the machine down below the casing on a slant towards the back of the sewing bed, its spring loaded so you may need a second pair of hands to do it the first time.
Hold the screwdriver down, and grasp the bulb, push it up and twist anticlockwise to undo the bayonet fitting. Push down and repeat the process to insert the new bulb, turning clockwise to insert it into the bayonet fitting. Release the screwdriver and the bulb holder will retract back into position.

If you have a Stella air electronic then it is very similar except for the location where you need to push. On the Stella look at the rear of the machine head above the bobbin cover and you will see a little slide mounted right at the end of the rear casing. Same thing but for these, put the screwdriver across the top of the slide horizontally, then push down on it to lower the bulb mounting.

That's it! Happy sewing.

Is it really a fuse box ? or breakers ? If nothing is running on that circuit ,you probably have a short circuit , the fuse or breaker is saving you from a fire.

I am looking into changing the lightbulb for my vanity visor mirror lights on my 1996 honda accord. I need help doing this, and what size lightbulb is it?

You should be able to just pop it out using a small flat head screwdriver. Once out, take the bulb to your local auto parts store and replace it.

Why do my lightbulbs keep blowing

Hi there and welcome to fixya,

There are a lot of attributes to that.. it could be unregulated voltage or a poor bulb quality. I recommend buying a higher quality bulb or better, replace it with the same type (fridge bulb).. some bulbs can't handle sudden temperature change inside the fridge that's why.

Hope this helps

My headlight fuse keeps blowing. The headlights are good but the fuse keeps blowing. I tested them in bothsides. I tested the fuse with know lightbulb installed and it does not blow the fuse.

Have you tested the amps being drawn with all bulbs in the circuit. This can be done easily by the DIY with an amp gauge and a few feet of wire. compare the result to the fuse amperage.
