How do I fix a 9 H.P.Craftmans snow blower that is not starting with a electric starter?

The first thing is dose the electric starter turn when you push the button.
If yes then the starter has nothing to do with the problem.
I would check the air filter the fuel shot off the gas it self drain if nessecary and take out the spark plug .Plug the wire back on the plug touch it to the engine head turn the engine over manualy or electricaly to see if the plug sparks needs to contact a good ground.
Air Electrical fuel are ALL any engine gas powered needs to run if the fuel is bad and you have air and electrical put some good fuel into the spark plug hole small amount put plug back in try to start if it runs at all a few seconds the gas is bad in the tank

Clean your fuse block by hand carefully or replace it. Corrosion is not always visible.

I flooded my big red 300 1996 yesterday going through a river to fast,I keeped on the electric start untill it stop turning over the motor, I then waited for a wile and kick started it and it went fine....

You can kick start it but your electric starter won't kick it in ?
Have you check your main fuse to the starter, starter relay and all realted wirings?
You have fried the starter motor my friend when you keep trying to turn it over until the motor stops.
Well, from what you've described, you started motor have gone to brink, better get a new starter.

Aprilia RS125 Help

Ive just bought a 2000 model RS 125 but my knowledge of bikes is pretty limited :/ The bike was running fine for a week with no problems at all but then the electric start doesnt want to work. I went through the manual and tried a couple of things (recharged the battery checked fuses cleaned spark plug etc) After I did this I still didnt have any luck but the electric start sounded abit more promising. I gave it another couple of goes and it started but when I let the throttle off the engine died and Im back to square 1. Anyone have any ideas about what could be the problem? I was talking to a friend and he said that I need to make sure that there is power going to the motor. He mentioned using a voltmeter to see if there was power going into it. He said that if there was no power then it would need a new electric start but if there was then I would need something else but I cant think what? Does this sound right to anyone?ou'll be able to tell if the ignition system is okay if there's a spark at the plug against the head with it removed when you kick it over (is there a kickstart lever on the bike?)/spin it over with the electric start. You could try bump starting it to see whether its just the electric starter motor or the ignition system itself that's the problem. If you do have a good spark then the bike should start with a bump push start/off the kicker (does it have one?)then you'll know whether the starter is the problem. My bike's kick-start only though so I'm no expert on starting Aprilia RS125's...Good luck. Don't waste money on new parts until you're sure of the problem though.,,,

99 4x4 expediton not starting

Try finding your starter that will be directly bolted onto the engine, probably underneath.
Hit it with a Metal hammer or wrench a few good times and see if it kicks over.
If its turning over and no spark is igniting your fuel, try new pluggs and wires,
possibility your distributor is bad.

If you need to look up on the net where it is at on your truck do so.
Give it a few Good beats on the metal housing and try to start it.
If you have a friend who can help get him over their to try turning the key as you hit the starter
this usualy will fix this problem for some time, but if it does.,, plan on buying a New starter so your not left stranded one day.

Good luck and let me know how this turned out.
