I have a rth3100 that i installed programed it ac came on the next day went off and wont come on it was cycling on and of. After new one was installed dont have power to it

Take it to an auto electrician to have it checked for operation and reprogrammed with a scan tool computer..

unplug tv remove batteries from remote try reset switch on bottom of unit lower left on back

use a fault scanner to reset the CPU program If everything is good it should work . if not the fault codes will reappear and you will know what to fix.

pull code and see -when u changed cat [part of emissions] it may have had to cycle thru to reset

**** in the venturi valve ,remove the ac interior unit and clean it all out ,broken bits of the old compressor blocking the restrictor (venturi )

The advance button send the current program to the next state. So if you have 3 on - off cycles programmed per day and you are currently at the second on cycle then by pressing advance the program moves to the second off part of the cycle and will stay off until the next on command time is reached. So if you are on Heating the advance will only affect the heating. Similarly if you are on Water then it will only advance the water program.

Battery.

Dell has a chip internal to the battery programed to shut down after a certain number of charge cycles. This means every time you plug the laptop in with the battery installed. When it reaches this determined number the battery effectively shuts down, even though technically it's still good. There have been loads of complaints on the net toward Dell over this issue. I have myself experience this. Battery good one day, powered down, went home, powered up... only to receive the deadly flashing light. Only cure is to replace battery. Several hacks trying to get around this but they're all horrible. Bad Dell - bad, bad Dell!

did you install the filter the correct direction some only allow fuel flow in one direction, or the increased fuel flow because the filter was no longer plugged may have sent more dirt and rust into the new filter clogging it

You can install the parts I am sure without professional help, but you will need to have the system pulled down with a vacuum pump to remove all air and moisture, also u will need to replace the accumulator/drier canister an the fixed orfice. always use new seals, never reuse old seals, if the AC has been contaminated flush it with AC flushing fluid, if u don't the new/rebuilt compressor will fail, also if the accumulator is not replaced the AC compressor warranty will be voided, so keep the receipt's

how long have you had your laptop? the toshiba laptop battery can be normal used in 400-500 cycles, that means normal in 2 years. if the age is over 2 years, the battery declines day by day. get a new one if it is unnormal
