Hi Bill:
Depending on the bike there may be minor differences, but the approach I would take would be to look around the back, lower part of the seat for some bolts holding tabs on the seat to the bike. Ob=nce you get the back undone, the seat can usually be removed by sliding it towards the rear. Patience and curiosity Bill. You'll get it!
Remove the seat cushion retaining bolts, detach the seat cushion and remove it up and out from the vehicle.
Remove the rear seat back retaining bolts at the bottom of the seat back. Pull up then out to disengage the upper frame from the hangers and remove seat back from the vehicle.
Installation is the reverse of removal.
