FI = Fuel Injection. The FI computer is telling you that it has detected a problem and the code for that problem is "C13". Telephone your dealer and ask what that code C13 indicates is wrong. Then you can determine if you want to try the fix, i.e. "clean the air filter", or if the shop must do it, i.e. "# 3 injector is restricted".

I had a similar problem with my Vulcan years ago, it turned out to be the Ignition Wires. Check to see if you get spark while the bike is hot.

Check that your getting power to your coil from your battery, check the coil with a ammeter www.dansmc.com/electricaltesting.htm
It could be your not getting enough voltage coming from the coil to the spark plugs.
Make sure your spark plugs are the correct type, if they are, check the gap.
