Question about kawasaki Motorcycles
OK I've ajusted my Carb on my Kawasaki bayou 300 and now in order for it to run like it should the chock has to be on all the time.Damn I can't figured this out......
Sounds like you've almost got it! Way to go.
Odds are pretty good that the jet(s) in the carb have some gummy bits in them. I'd be considering removing the carb, dismantling it, cleaning all the bits, using compressed air to blow it all out, re-assembling it, and having another go at it.
Since it only wants to run when you choke it, it's way too lean, so needs more fuel. Somethings gotta be plugged up.

SOURCE: kawasaki 300 bayou won't rev up.
No guarantees but try this. Pull the slide from the throat of the carb. Now move the clip on the jet needle down one notch. This will richen the low end mix. Two notches may be needed but do one notch at the start.

No, the reverse light is only for reverse indication. If the light is coming on while riding in any forward gear there is a loose connection, probably where the reverse sender attaches to the transmission or the sender itself is malfunctioning.
