Can you put the removable pan with the 16 quart roaster oven in a actual electric oven?

Definitely not! I once tried putting the removable pan over a very low fire on my stove and it cracked within seconds. They seem to only be designed for the over they can in.

Oil in ovverflo of coolant but not the reverse drive everyday flush once month

If there is oil in water, then there may be a head gasket leak. However, half a quart of oil loss every 15,000 mi. is not bad. If van runs perfectly, then I wouldn't worry too much about it. Maybe try some Bar's Leaks Head Gasket Repair for $30 or so to fix the slow leak in the coolant system.

How do you change the transmission fluid in a 2006 Hyundai Elantra? What kind of transmission fluid and how many quarts?

A Service Department as a Hyundai Service Department typically uses a "Fluid Exchange" machine (approx. 7 quarts of Hyundai SPIII fluid) to do a flush. There is a drain plug at the bottom of the transmission (24 mm bolt) to drain it. However, this method is not entirely/completely effective. This drain plug only empties the pan, not the torque converter -- so you're only replacing about 3 to 4 quarts with this method (torque converter does not drain). So, once you've replaced the 3 to 4 quarts this way, there's still contaminated fluid in the torque converter which will circulate back into the rest of the transmission. RECOMMENDATION: Have a certified technician do a flush (fluid exchange).

It is normal to use over a quart of oil before oil change

My 1993 voyager is like that. It may burn some , it definitely leaks some , and it could be just sending some through the PCV valve. Oil leaks and burning oil causes pollution . If you can fix it with a new seal or a valve cover gasket it is easier than constantly checking your oil. Temperature, trailering, speed, outdoor temperature, and engine RPM all can be factors if you are losing oil. If your engine is a quart down, the engine oil consumption rate doubles or triples. In other words the lower the oil level the faster it disappears. High mile cars will drive for years as long as you add oil when it is needed (keep the oil level between the marks). Fix any obvious leaks. Then determine your oil change interval (3000 miles, 4000 miles, 5000 miles). I change between 4000 and 5000 miles. If i am a quart low at 3500 I add a quart. If I am a quart low at 4500 miles I just change the oil in the car. A good practice is to carry a quart of oil in your vehicle just in case you need it. It is far cheaper to add a quart when needed than to go to the dealer once to maybe fix a problem that they may not be able to find or fix. Older engines (even some newer ones) just use oil , especially in hotter climates. Fix the obvious and carry a quart.

I am missing the owners manual, how many quarts of oil for the 2005, silverado 3500hd 6.0l v8 gas with filter change?

I would just put in about 4 quarts and then check it.If no reading on stick,I would add more at 1/2 quart increments.Once you get into a good range, start up for 2 minutes.Let sit for 5-10 minutes and recheck due to filter being filled and system drain down then add accordingly.Once you have a fairly accurate estimate, write it down somewhere, maybe just put it in the glovebox.Good luck! How many quarts of oil does a Corolla Dx hold at oil change?

4 quarts, 5 with filter change according to the book. Rule of thumb, buy 5 and once you drain and replace the filter, start by putting 3 and a half quarts in and check the level. If it's between the marks start the motor and run for 5 minutes then let it sit for 5 minutes and recheck the level. Top off half a quart at a time till you get the oil level between the full and add marks.
