How to take axel out of rear wheel 2009 Yamaha 950 have muffler off wheel nut off but doesn't want to come off need help please

Undo the axle nut..the brake lever,and the brake support arm,then drive the bolt from the right to the left using the ratchet handle and a beating device.
The tire then is just sitting on the gear mesh,pull it from the right ,and it drops right off

remove the bags and side covers /remove clip from rh side of axel remove nut/put wrench on lh side of axel and twist to loosen belt adjustment caution !! note clamshell adjusters both sides they need to go back the same way when refiting wheel knock the axel from rh side through with large screw driver use hand not hammer the wheel should drop stand over back fender lift wheel slightly slip off belt roll brake caliper up and outwards untill it clears drop wheel down and remove brake caution again!! belt tension should be 10lbs 4.5 kg force centre from front and rear sprocket you will need belt tension tool for correct tension

How do I take rear axel screw off 2009 Yamaha 950 I'm trying to take off rear wheel to put new bearing seals please help new biker to the World


remove rear brake caliper on that there will be a bar to stop caliper from turning when braking remove, remove axle nut, axle should push through swinging arm and wheel some times they will rust in if so screw axle nut half on then use a soft hammer and hammer axle nut. good luck should work

Hi, Jjlaporte and the usual suspects are:
1. Wheels and or tires worn or damaged.
2. Engine/transmission/vehicle not aligned properly.
3. Primary chain is badly worn or links too tight as a result of insufficient lubrication or misalignment.
4. Engine to transmission mounting bolts loose.
5. Upper engine mounting bracket loose.
6. Ignition timing incorrect due to a poorly tuned engine.
7. Internal engine problem flywheels have shifted.
8. Broken frame.
9. Stabilizer links worn or loose.
10. Rubber mounts loose or worn.
11. Rear fork pivot shaft nuts loose.
12. Front engine mounting bolts loose.
