My sons handle bars are loose, so everytime he turns the steering is out of alignment, this is a bmx bike, the brake cables go into the frame, how do i tighten it so he can ride it?

There should be a single hex head bolt on the goose neck that is the thing that the handle bars go through. Tighten that hex head bolt and you should be good to go.
