Question about 2005 Harley Davidson XL 1200 R Sporster Roadster
There are switches at both the pedal and lever that activate the same brake light. Either you are not getting power to the switches, or it is not getting to the brake light (or the brake light bulb is burnt out). Try checking the bulb first, and while you have the bulb out, use a voltmeter to see if you're getting power to the bulb. Then check to see if you're getting power to the switches. I don't know if there is a separate fuse for that circuit, so check your fuses. Odds are you'll have it solved pretty quickly.
