Hi,if you have the bike switched off dose it go in to gear ,if not falty gearbox, but if it dose I would sirjest you check the cable or hydrolics that push open the clutch and release the plats in the clutch basket,if ok then you will have to check that its all gone back ok behind the casing,
some times we rush and make mistakes, please dont get me wrong that dose not mean that your not caperble just sometimes we take are eye off the ball.all the best.

SOURCE: can I use gl-5 80 90 wall-mart brand gear lube in

if the bike is a shaft drive, then the oil you are referring to is a gear oil only, will be fine in the rear drive unit as most standard hondas use 80-90 as standard....but under no circumstances put this grade of oil into your engine or gearbox, you will destroy the motor in a very short time

Hi I went to buy a 1982 750 magna today. it started right up and was a little noisy but I think the engine is ok. The problem is that there was no fluid in the clutch reservoir and the bike won't shift...

You'll see a bleed valve at the left side of the engine under the side engine cover.
Top up the oil reservoir.
Loose the bleeder and clean it out.
Replace the bleeder, and put a transparent hose on it, to a bowl.
After a few minutes, the brakefluid should show up in the hose. Look permanently that there is enough fluid in the reservoir!

When fluid flows airbubble free, tighten the bleeder. Feel the cluthhandle, should feel 'nice' now.

Most times, the leak at the clutch piston is internal. You won't see traces at the outside of the engine.
You'll have to dismount the clutch piston to check him.

1989 yamaha 750 v twin gas to carbs but not to heads

Hi Jilline,
If the carbs have gas and the gas dont get into the sparkplugs this means the main jet and the pilot jet are clogged.
You will have to clean the carbs!

Cheers.
