Dirty or incorrectly gapped plugs, idle set too slow. If carburetter, dirty jets, if fuel injection, bad adjustment or dirty injectors.

If you dealer won't help you, change dealers.

SOURCE: 07 street glide won't idle properly.one minute

i would also check at the the throttle body first that sounds like your problem. if that is not the problem it might be the fuel injectors i had almost the same issue. in 2006 and some of 2007 they claim they fixed the problem before 2007 bikes came out but thats not true. the angle that the fuel injectors sat was wrong they had to change the angle. how i fixed mine i installed screaming eagle injectors that sat at a 45 degree angle and never had a problem since. harley also had to pay for parts and labor. there is also a update or recall on 2007 harleys for a control module not sure wich one but call your dealer and ask them about it i know the module had something to do with the fuel or air i think.

I have a 07 street glide , after riding for a while it sometimes idles low and ruff and stalls unless I feather the throttle! I've had it at the dealer and they can't find a issue and no codes

If I'm not mistaken, that year had a GM-made TBI with a TPS (Throttle Position Sensor). If there is a TPS at the throttle butterfly, just replace it, as the problem you are describing sounds like a flaky TPS.

I have a 2007 street glide that dies at idle when coming to a stop, also back fires when slowing down.

Have the computer re-mapped. I have the same bike with a stage 1 upgrade. The race tuner was bad. Dealer removed it, remapped the stock computer with the stage 1 settings and all has been well since.

2009 Street Glide surged forward in the middle of an intersection

If you can lower the idle with the grip than it appears the return spring isn't working right or its missing. If you have an injector fueling when it is not supposed to be, that needs to be addressed before you ruin the rings and brgs. or get squished. I'm looking at it being a bad return spring. It should go to idle on it's own when you let go the grip.. Good Luck and ride safely. Ned

Harley Davidson street glide idles low and sometimes dies at stop signs?

Possible cause is a crack in the fuel filter shell which is installed inside the fuel tank. Harley has a recall for affected models. Post your VIN number or go to your local dealer and ask him is there a recall for your bike. All he will need is the VIN number and any recalls will be done under warranty. By the way, not sure of the year of your bike but it may still be under warranty anyway. Other than that there could be a TP sensor fault.
