Both fuel relay fuses making clicking noises under hood in 2001 dodge 2500 v8

the clicking noises you are hearing are the relays powering up, that is normal. with somebody in truck try starting itw ith somebody under truck at the gas tank, take a rubberm allet and bang on the tank in the center of it while cranking, if it starts you need a fuel pump. make sure you have gas in tank the sending unit on the fuel pumps go bad all the time.

Motor turns over won't start. Cleaned terminals, put in new battery, still won't start. Removed gas cap to vent air on hot day, still won't start. Lights all come on, all electrics appear to...

Your problem may be one of the following:
First check or just replace the fuel filter. Usually located under the car in front of the rear axle, drivers side.
Next, the fuel pump may be worn out. Usually they get loud or stop working (running).
Next, check the fuel pressure regulator. Usually located on the front fuel rail, drivers side.
Is the vacuum line attached? Not leaking or rotted?
Also, do you smell a strong fuel odor when it won't start? May be one or more stuck-open injectors, or the coil pack is bad.
Checking these in the order listed will more than likely fix your problem.
The clicking noise indicates the battery can no longer run the starter, which also means the fuel pump won't run either.

It could be a fuel issue. How old is the fuel filter? Can you hear the pump run for a few seconds when you turn the key on? Try turning the key to ON without trying to start engine three times waiting for the pump to stop running each time. Then try to start the engine. If it starts, Its a form of Vapor lock caused by the extreme heat we have had lately, and a weak fuel pump.

If none of this works, try a new fuel filter first. From there have someone check the fuel pressure regulator and then the pump. If you are in need of a new pump, take my word for it and spend the money to get one from a Dealer, and not from your favorite parts store. Most parts store parts are made in China and they are JUNK.

How to change a fuel pump on a 2002 crystler sebring

Pump is in the tank.....
  1. Locate the fuel filter, which is mounted on the frame above the back of the fuel tank. Remove the fuel pump relay from the power distribution center, then start the engine. Allow it to run until it stalls. Try to start it again and let it run until it stalls. Repeat this procedure until it no longer will start, then turn the ignition off.
  2. Step 2 Loosen and lower the fuel tank assembly to get to the fuel filter. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Open the trunk and find the 4-pin connector under the trunk mat on the left side near the base of the shock tower. Disconnect the fuel pump wiring jumper from the body harness.
  3. Step 3 Push the body grommet out and feed the jumper completely through the hole in the body. Relieve the fuel system pressure by slowly removing the fuel filter cap. Raise and support the vehicle.
  4. Step 4 Put a fuel container under the drain plug, which is on the bottom-left of the fuel tank. Remove the plug and let the fuel drain out. Reinstall the plug and tighten it to 32 inch pounds.
  5. Step 5 Disconnect the driver's side fuel tank strap and loosen the passenger's side fuel tank strap. Squeeze the fuel filter hose connector to release the tabs and disconnect the fuel lines. Then, take out the fuel filter.
  6. Step 6 Put a bit of engine oil on the ends of the new fuel filter. Connect it to the fuel tubes. Reposition the fuel tank and put the fuel tank straps back on, tightening the bolts to the bolts to 17 foot pounds. Reconnect the fuel pump module connector.
  7. Step 7 Connect the negative battery cable. Refill the fuel tank and wipe up any fuel that may have spilled during the filter replacement. Check for fuel leaks when you start your Chrysler Sebring

My bike wont start and soon as i turn the engine run switch i hear something under my seat start clicking what is that??

Its probably your starter relay or possible your fuel pump starving for fuel... the starter relay is under your seat behind the battery and the fuel pump is under your tank...

Now there's a loud clicking from under bonnet when I turn key

Since you ran out of fuel, it's possible your car pulled sediment at the bottom of the tank into the system. I would recommend changing the fuel filter. The clicking noise is due to the battery being 'flat'. You need to charge it, and depending how quickly it went flat after trying to start (if it went flat after a few minutes of attempting to start) I would have the battery checked for it's condition, as it may be time to replace it. In the US you can get a free check of the battery condition at parts stores, with the battery in or out of the car, not sure about where you live though. Good luck, let me know what you find.

Can't get it to start. family has car and can't get it to start

could be a list of things,
does it make one click sound on starting = new starter motor solinoid,
does it make loads of clicking sounds = new battery,
does the engine turn over but not fire up = fuel problem or weak battery.

Toro TimeCutter z4200 will not start

First check to see if there is a fuel shutoff under the tank. On some models there is a fuel filter screen inside the tank where the fuel line connects to the tank. If niether of these work, R&R the carb.

Stops running while driving

Try cleaning your fuel line from the built-in fuel filter of the carb down to the gas tank, including the fuel filter located under you vehicle just beside the chassis on the back part of the vehicle, better yet replace it with a new fuel filter. if possible, clean the whole fuel tank.
