Check the fuse box first then use a multi meter to check for earth and power feeds to the lamps.I would start with the rear one first

i have a few diagrams from the clymers manual. gs750 fours 1977-1982. i have the same bike as you, but im not sure what diagram is the corrext one.. i think its the 1979 GS750N & EN one., lemme know if that works illl scan it

Electrical wiring short troubleshooting1979 suzuki gs750; fuses for headlight, turn signals, and horn keep blowing out


You almost certainly have a bad coonnection somewhere, have a look behind the headlight to start with. Really, you need to do some electrical fault finding with a multi tester. Try to pin point exactly when the fuse is blowing - ie when u switch something on, or when you start up..... Some times the tank of these can rub o hole in the wiring loom underneath - check there. There are many electrical `potential` probs with gs`s but they can be rectified. Try the GSRESOURCE site for more assistance.

Either has a charging rotor problem, stator problem, or regulator rectifier problem. Get a manual and trouble shoot.
