Whoosing noise in front. Seems to be louder after installing a fairing.

Hi Brian, noises are sometimes hard to diagnois when I can't hear them and this one of those cases. I would take to your local service dept. or shop and let them take it for a test ride. Good luck

Brakes problem


When worn out brake pads have a piece of metal contacting the discs to indicate that you need to change your brakes.

Just look for worn pads, I bet you'll need to change your front brakes .

If the noise indeed does get louder when turning right, I would suspect the leftside hub.

2002 camery roaring from front seems louder when slowing down. It is not brakes


check wheel bearing...transmission output shaft bearing. noise is louder because when bearing slow down, they get louder from worn down ball bearing inside the cage, space is developing between the ball bearing..caused by lack of lubricate, or just worn out bearings

If the noise gets louder around corners while the 4WD is being used the Constant Velocity Universal joint is worn out, if not the truck probably needs stabilizer link rods they are fairly inexpensive but the CVU joints are not.

My 96 ls400 suspension noise


front lower ball joints are possible cause, they wear out and start all kinds of noises, uppers are also suspect, either the ball joint or the control arm bushings. Did you put the anti squeek shims behind the pads?
