That emblem is just held on with two sided tape, you should be able to just pry it off, you might thnk about using a hair dryer to heat it up and that will loosen the glue on the tape, then I would get some new tape before you re-install it !

If you don't mind leaving me a feedback, I'm trying to get established here, Thank you ver much !

Hello,

This sounds like a Float issue. If the Float becomes saturated with fuel, it will be too heavy to stop fuel flowing into the carburetor, hence fuel coming out the air filter. It also could be an adjustment of the Float. One other thing that could cause your problem is the needle/seat. Check for excessive wear.

Hope this helps. If you find this information useful, please vote on this post. Thank you.

If you need more help with this issue, please post a Comment and I will get back to you as soon as I can.

Regards,

Oz

Need radator for kawasaki vn 1500 classic tourer 2001 is the driffter the same radator as the vn 1500 classic plz hellllllllllllp

TO ALL VN1500 OWNERS....This once happen to me,
I went to the garage to start the bike "Nothing ""The first thing is the lights are bright but no turning over,Next you think the solenoid is kaput but the answer was very simple and the fix takes 30 seconds..
Do not take the bike to bits looking for other problems and look at the clutch leaver and you will see some wires going into a plastic shroud going into the switch in the clutch leaver, Make sure this has not popped out if its connection as it some times may do after a few years due to constant turning on the handlebars,
When this is not connected you will have a bike that will not fire up but comes alive and you will hear a clicking noise but this is from the engine carb area and every function of the bike will work but it will not turn over, Worth looking at and saves sixteen quid for a starter unit you never needed.

I have a 1998 kawasaki 1500 classic that runs rich to the point where the fender is turning black. Riders behind say they smell strong odor of unburnt fuel. Bike idles smoothly and does not fog black out...

The easiest way to tell is have a look at the spark plugs and see what colour they are.
The should be a light brown, if black then you are running rich and will need to adjust your carbs.

Just went to start after winter blowing gas out the air cleaner.

sounds like the needle and seat is not sealing. It is a common problem when bics are stored over winter.Either remove carb and clean nedle and seat or replace to be sure.
