If this only happens when started electrically, it could be the starter does not disengage.

Everytime i hit a little bump my tured sqweaks an it knocks around the front tire. I dont know if its my bearings or ball joint or if i need new shocks. Can some one help pin point the issue.

  1. Shock absorbers (shocks) dampen out the spring motion. Go to each corner of the car and "bounce" the car. If it goes down, up, and stop,s the shock absorber at that corner is OK. If it goes down and up any more than that, the shock is bad.
  2. Jack up one front wheel. Pull on the top of he wheel and push in the bottom, and then the reverse. Back and forth. If it moves much it could be the ball joint.
  3. Rotate the tire slow and listen for a grinding noise and try to see if the wheel is unsteady while turning. If so, the bearing needs to be replaced.
  4. If the bearing seems OK but the tire moved (step 2) you probably have a ball joint problem.

What are the side effects over years of use

Ball Bearing needs to change.there is inside the pump a mechanic seal that with the time, leaks water and rust the ball bearing balls and making rusted the shaft .
The pump at this time gets Humming when works.
Pump humming or making noise is not a good working pump.
must be quiet without noise

Knocking while accelerating the engne

Knocking noises like ball-bearings bouncing around against metal. Sometimes this problem can be attributed to the use of gasoline that is graded too low for maximum engine performance. Other problems that can cause a pinging sound are carbon that has deposited inside the cylinder, incorrect ignition timing or using the wrong spark plugs.

What is causing the shaking in the front end and the wearing out the tread on inside of tire. I was told it was either wheel bearing or ball joint

Most likely it is the ball joint and a need for an alignment but it could also be the tie rods. I would look at the tie rods and ball joints. If you have over 100,000 miles on those front struts that could cause the "Toe-In" to be off and bouncing in the front end.

Loud humming noise.starts around 25mph...can hear it all the time even at 65mph...sounds like a quiet lawnmower..

I am sure its the wheel bearing, now you have to figure out which side and that is done by loading the bearing while driving.

Possibly the sway bar links.

Loud rattling noise coming from front of the engine by harmonic

Sounds like a bad water pump or a tensioning pulley.

Hub noise

You have a bad wheel bearing, when you turn away from the bad bearing the wheel bearing is un-loaded and quiets down.
