This is not a motor cycle,us it a honda car???make model,year,how can we help with no info
the P3400 code on a contemporary Accord is indicative of the valve train switching solenoids moving incorrectly. More often than not this code is caused by a dirty oilcondition or simply a low oil level in your car.

With that said, when was the last time that you changed the oil in your car? If it's been over 5,000 miles since your last oil change then it may be a good idea to consider changing the oil as soon as possible. Hopefully, this will clear that P3400 error code.

EXHAUST Valve 0.10 mm

Valve clearance 4g13


make the engine runs for about 30minutes before adjusting the valves,
valve clearances:
intake valve = 0.20mm(0.008 in)
exhaust valve = 0.25mm(0.010 in)
for reference only when the engine is cold,
valve clearances:
intake valve = 0.25mm(0.010 in)
exhaust valve = 0.30mm(0.012 in)
engine specs: mitsubishi 4g13 1.3L (if you have same engine)

This is the specs for the 4H Diesel engine:
Intake valves clearance cold 0.4mm(.016inches)
Exhaust valve clearance cold 0.4mm(.016inches)

Procedure of tappet adjustment


make sure engine is warmed up. Put cylinder one at top dead center,remove the valve cover,loosen all adjustment lock nuts,adust intake and exhaust valves on cyl #1 and intake valve on #2 and exhaust valve on #3. now rotate crankshaft 360 degrees clockwise, now adjust intake valves on cyl#3 and cyl #4 and exhaust valves on cyl #2 and cyl #4.now tighten lock nuts and install valve cover. specs are intake valves 25mm clearance and exhaust 28mm clearance, use a feeler gauge,heres a picture to show you where to check clearance.7675a52.gif

valve clearance, with engine hot, intake valves are .005-.006 in, exhaust valves are .011 in, if engine is cold then its intake .009-.011 in and exhaust is .007. hope this helps good luck.

  1. With No. 1 piston (6108) on top dead center (TDC) at the end of compression stroke (Position No. 1 in the illustration), check the following valves:
    Position 1
    No. 1 exhaust valve (6505) No. 1 intake valve (6507).
    No. 3 exhaust valve No. 2 intake valve.
    No. 6 exhaust valve No. 4 intake valve.
  1. Rotate crankshaft (6303) 360 degrees to position No. 2 and check the following valves:
