The fork oil should be drained into a calibrated measuring container so you can refill what you drained.

Fork air pressure on my 1987 fz600. the specs i saw on line just said kabya air pressure. another bike i had was only supposed to take five lbs each. is this the same?

It is about the same but it is better if you replace your fork oils with a SAE 15W fork oil, 480ml in each fork.Works a lot better than the stock 10W+air.
