SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

SOURCE: Yamaha SRX 400

I'll post the address for you to get the manual you need and the web site has an online parts manual but it does not offer a repair manual for free. Do you still want the web URL?

SOURCE: cant get a spark from yamaha kodiak 400

I did one about a year ago & it was the pulser coil(black plastic pickup next to magneto behind L/H engine cover) but

  1. I'm not suggesting that this is definatly the fault
  2. But id check it first
  3. I havent got the spec for it but got it from my Yamaha dealer easy enough(you'll need the wire colours as well)
  4. contact me back if you can't get them and i'll see what I can do(it'll be another week before I can get it as my phone is shot! blew the line clean out of the wall in a storm a couple of weeks ago)
Hope this helps

SOURCE: engine will not idle when warm, hard to start

There is one screw that adjusts the revs, you can increase the engine revs and it should solve the idling problem.Be careful as there may be one for air mixture which could look similar..make sure you adjust the one for the revs only.If this does not solve your problem then let us know.

SOURCE: I have a yamaha

Check that the intake manifold is not cracked or separated, extra air might cause you to need the choke. Some times the first carburetor cleaning does not do the trick. Take the carburetor off again, take out the slow jet, and shoot through it with cleaner to make sure it is clear. Now shoot through the passageway of the body and make sure that the body of the carburetor is clear . When all passageways in the body are clear then reassemble and put it back on. If the air screw is set correctly you should have a machine that idles.

Have a 1994 Kodiak 400 and have no fire to coil and no spark what do you think that is

It is most likely gonna be the cdi inside the motor. Those are famous for going out. It's not a bad change tho. The part is about 250 dollars and you'll need a new gasket and oil. And really that's all.

02 yamaha kodiac 400 4x4. Magneto won't lock onto shaft. Keys lined up magneto in place but when I out case back on it sucks the magneto off the shaft and to the magnet. Is this supposed to happen?

Hi, David for this situation I would call my local dealer or reputable shop's service/parts department and inquire about any possible quick fix, answers, or parts inquiry. If necessary, transport your bike to the dealer or shop and have a professional technician take it for a test drive, if it is in running condition, and give you a written estimate of repairs and answer any specific questions you may have about your problem. 2002 Yamaha Kodiak 400. How can I press magneto back onto crank?

From my Yamaha days, the shaft is tapered and there is a small half round key that sits in the shaft. This has to be lined up with a rectangular slot inside the 'magneto'. When they line up, the magneto will slide onto the shaft easily until it locks on the taper. Then you just tighten the nut on the end of the shaft to the correct torque. Make the key sit up at the back, and low at the front to make it easier to find. It will sort itself out when it is fully home.
