If you replaced the fuse and it didn't blow again, fuses like everything else deteriorate with age and sometimes just go. If it blows at a later time I'd chase down the wires and components and see if there's breaks in the insulation grounding out. If it don't don't worry about it.

88 toyota pick up v6 keeps blowing efi fuse

you may have a short of some kind, when a fuse blows repeatedly it is no good just replacing, you are being told that something is wrong with the equipment.
You will almost certainly have to visit a technician for a diagnosis. It is unlikely to be something that an inexperienced end user can sort out I am afraid.

GOOD LUCK

Diagram of fuse box on 2000 vw new beetle

I cannot help you with the make of your vehicle but I once had random blowing of fuses in my Chrysler Spirit car. Sometimes the fuse would blow in a couple of days and sometimes a week or two would go by before the fuse would blow. I took a blown fuse and soldered a very small 12 bulb across the fuse's ends and pushed the combination- blown fuse/bulb into the fuseholder. One night as I opened my car door, this bright light came on and I knew that the cause of the intermittent blown fuses was somewhere inside of the door. I removed the panel and found that the insulation had worn off some wires. I taped the wires using electrical tape and had no further problems. Len at www.oshawarocks.com

How do I access fuse in a jmc7000adw? Unit is "dead", want to check fuse first before calling repair person

To check the fuse in the JMC7000adw you first should remove the power cord from the power source. Then remove the screws holding the outside cover of the microwave . The High Voltage circuitry may hold a residual charge that could be lethal so use appropriate care when near the High Voltage circuitry. The fuse holder is a plastic inline clamshell type that must be opened carefully with the fingers or pried open. The fuse holder is located above the micro-switches near the internal light socket. The fuse plugs into contacts soldered onto wires so carefully pull the contacts off each end of the fuse being careful not to get cut if the fuse breaks. Sometimes the blown fuse might come apart so you will need to force the fuse ends out of the contact using a small screwdriver or other small instrument that will fit into the end of the metal fuse contacts. After replacing the fuse with the appropriate size I suggest you might wish to see if the fuse blows again before reinstalling the cover. Most likely the fuse blows because of an overload in the circuitry or a short in the safety micro switches as noted in other posted solutions. These micro switches seem to be underrated for the current they may be carrying and the contacts will weld themselves together or intermittently stick together causing the fuse to blow as noted in my previous posting.

Fan fuse blown?

I assume you have replaced the blower fuse before.
The compressor has probably failed and that is what is blowing the fuse. You may be able to unplug the clutch on the compressor and use the heat without blowing the fuse again.
Otherwise someone will have to trace the circuit with the blown fuse to find out what it powers.

Wha causes to computer cable conection to smog test station can't be reading

If the somg test station can't communicate with your computer then I would look for a blown fuse. Lots of cars use the same fuse for the aux power/ cig lighter.

My JVC THM303 will not work at all. took it apart to see if there was a blown fuse and the fuse is blown but do not know where to get on. The fuse says 51MS on one end and 125V1.6A on other

You need a 1.6 amp gma fuse, be sure not to get a slow-blow fuse.

Fuses blow for a reason (a short circuit). Not very often does it only need a fuse. I suggest trying only once if it blows again right away, take it in for service.

Blowing fuse...

Tim, this blown fuse issue was pretty common on this model. Whirlpool, which made this model came out with a fuse kit that included a terminal and heavier guage wire to eliminate this problem. It just splices right into the control board, easy job. The model number that you posted had some service flashes out on it including a heater and motor rework. If your model number ends in 00 or 01, yours may be included. You may want to check with Whirlpool to get that fuse kit and check on the service flash. The service flash is 22-721. Good luck, Catriver
