01 caravan.Ran out of gas on the freeway, thought it was the fuel pump changed the pump n filter, starts up but wont rev more than 3rpm boggs dwn n dies when u hit the gas.

This more then likely damaged the cataylitic convertor.
It was running to lean . To lean is to hot exhaust can't get out the engine can't run.
You gave a good discribtion and it all fixs

76 jeep cherokee 360. how many turns on the oxygen screw of the carburator? i can take off fine if i baby the gas but if i give it too much gas it boggs down and back fires.

Sounds like a problem with the accelerator pump or cruise circuit in the carb. The idle mixture screws only affect the idle circuit.
You start with 2 turns out then adjust it with an exhaust gas analyzer.

My 2006 Yamaha Banshee 350 runs great when in power band but back fires and cuts out while mid-throttle. I tried putting new carbs on it. Could it be the Brain box?

Hi Drewhallik, and the usual suspects are:
1. Loose, corroded, or broken battery cable ends inside the cable harness especially the "NEGATIVE" cable at both ends.
2. A severely drained battery.
3. Faulty main circuit breaker and or connections.
4. Faulty ignition coil and or connections.
5. Faulty spark plug, oil or gas fouled, wrong heat range or service type, wrong gap, loose in the cylinder head, broken electrode or insulator.
6. Faulty spark plug cables, leaking or broken, internal damage.
7. Faulty ignition module, switch, CKP, MAP, CMP, sensor and or any connector in the ignition circuit could have corroded, loose, or broken pins/sockets
8. Burnt exhaust valve or air leak in the exhaust system.

The problem im having with the 93 rodeo is loss of power and it seems to be wasting lots of gas. ill start the truck up and after a few minutes i put into gear and apply brake then accelerate but the truck...

Check the catalitic converter.if you start it and the cat gets red hot after several minutes it is clogged. also start it and see if ti has any pressure coming out of the exhaust pipe. there should be plenty

Yamaha banshee will idle beautiful.but when u give it gas fast or slow it bogs down...i cleaned the carbs and ive tuned the **** out this a turn out half turn in 3/4 turn all night and cant get it...

This is an easy one - there is a mouse nest in your airbox or in the muffler. To find out disconnect the exhaust at the cylinders and start and rev the engine - if it is OK its in the muffler. If it still bogs take the airbox and filter apart and clean them out.

Banshee wont rev

Usually related to TORS, specifically the safety switch in the clutch/park brake assembly. If it's defective the engine won't rev. Solution: look for a TORS removal kit.

You may need to adjust the fuel/air ratio. There is a small screw under the pull starter facing horizontally (its behind the plastic air filter cover, but accessable) adjust either clockwise or counter clockwise in small increments and give it gas and see if it dies or boggs down. Also check that spark plug is clean and not fouled, and air filter is clean and olied.
