If the scooter is a Lamberetta or any other Italian scooter usually they are two stroke, to which you add two stroke oil to the petrol. on some newer model scooters they have a seperate oil bottle near the petrol tank which takes the two stroke

5. The exhaust has a high pitched Bap Bap sound.
6. Small scooters and small dirt bikes are generally 2 Stroke.
7. Older models had adjustable throttle actuated oil injection.
8. Older models had a premix ratio of 2 stroke oil and gas.
FOUR STROKE
1. Four strokes red line around 6,000-8,000 RPM.
2. Four strokes have camshafts and valves.
3. Mufflers have large diameter outlets.

Set timing on a banshee mp-050b scooter

I can't find that model, but other models like the JCL MP-050B are 50cc four-stroke 139QMB engines. I'm assuming that's what your scooter has as well, since many Chinese scooters are renamed, but often keep a model number across various re-brandings. These engines have no way designed into them for the user to set ignition timing. You would have to modify/replace the pickup, flywheel, or CDI to change ignition timing. If you mean camshaft/valve timing, then you need to get the engine to TDC (top dead center) on the compression stroke. The cam has 3 holes in it's gear. One large hole and then a small hole 90 degrees away each way. At TDC on the compression stroke, the large hole should sit at the very top/front of the engine. The two small holes should be parallel with the top of the rocker assembly.

Oil to petrol ratio for a 4 stroke motor

Hi adashalala
If you have a four stroke motor then you DO NOT mix oil with your gas, you only mix oil with your gas in a 2 stroke motor.
You will have an oil reserve on the four stroke motor, make sure it is at the propper level
Please take time to rate me

I want to know is it true that 4stroke motor uses only benzin or it can use benzin+oil? I have buy scooter ZN50QT-19 and i dont know which kind of fuel he uses :)He is 4 stroke

All four stroke motors use straight gasoline or benzin. Only 2-stroke engines use a gas (benzin) + oil mix. Even some later model 2-stroke engines run straight gasoline and have a pump that mixes the oil with the gasoline. Most 2-strokes built after the mid-70's have the pump. You can easily by examination of the throttle cable. If it's equipped with a pump, the throttle cable will split from one cable on down to two cables where it enters the engine. Read your owner's manual.

Where do you find the spark plug and CDI on a 50cc Chongqing Bashan scooter? And how do you replace the sparkplug and CDI?

The spark plug is located on the cylinder head of the engine. Look for a really thick wire from the ignition coil. The plug is on the other end. Your plug, if a four stroke engine, is a CR7HSA, which takes a 5/8 deep well socket to remove. The CDI is a black box, sometimes in the battery box, most often under the seat bucket after its removed.

Scooter sputtered and quit while riding. Gas dripping from bottom

The blue header on your posting says a Milano 150cc which is a single cylinder four stroke. You write the bike is 49cc. That small an engine it is probably a two stroke (mix gas with oil)???? Which bike do you have???
Four stroke or two stroke chances are that the carb float has a bit of trash not letting the float needle close fully. Remove the carb and clean it. re-mount it then Remove the water trap bowl from the bottom of the petcock (gas valve). Is there any trash in the bowl?
Dump the bowl and remount. It may be that your bike does not have the water trap bowl I have mentioned.
