Question about 2011 Bajaj Pulsar 180
Everytime when i engage the 1st gear so getting back to the neutral is a quite tedious affair/impossible task. seems gears stuck between 1st and 2nd. Also bike lurches for only first time when i shift 1st gear. gearshifting is very hard. Replaced engine oil, adjusted clutch but no success. Bike has 1 down 4 up gear system.
Change its gear outer wire and its clutch plates after changing i thing your problem will solve

Just try it over after replacing the fork oil and springs.
But also check the cone sets because you may be getting the sound from that also.

SOURCE: my bike (bajaj pulsar 150
A 4-stroke engine on the pulsar should not produce blue smoke. The cause for the same could have been the engine got overheated. Blue smoke generally signifies oil burning, and if it does it immediately after start up, then goes away, that usually means valve seals are worn out. You would have to get to the engine , to see where the problem is.
Thanks for using fixya
