2. Faulty neutral switch.
3. A loose bulb in the socket.

Check the fuses too and basically all the wiring, there could be somewhere a loose connection also check the wires at the solenoid switch.

I am guessing that the new jet was a larger jet than the original jet. You may have gone too far in the jet size. Re-install the old jet and see if that fixes the problem.

The reason why the bike wouldn't start while in gear and the clutch depressed is so it wouldn't start and jump ahead if the clutch was released. This is usually called popping the clutch without in gear without throttle.........Hope this helps.
