Question about Yamaha Motorcycles
Check the clutch cable has not twisted or somehow has become inoperative. Is it operating as it should? Try putting it back to original position and see if that rectifies the problem.

under the left side of the gas tank you will see i black knob/screw at the end of what looks like a hose. the knob faces the rear of bike. that adjusts the idle. its real easy to find and the only adjustment you can make to the carbs.

Spray lock with wd40(inside) When you try the key, pull the handle bars hard in the direction that the wheel is turned. If you have the right keys, that should work. If your outside in the cold, it could be a frozen lock also, make sure the key goes in all the way. The wd40 (or any penetrating oil) should thaw it as well.

Re route the throttle cable if ness, is the twistgrip tight to turn, do you have any free play at the cable? You may try turning the addjustment back on the throttle pull cable on the twistgrip
