SOURCE: VEHICLE WONT START

In the 1995-97 Suzuki Swift/Geo Metro/Pontiac Firefly the engine won't start if the auto. transmission is in any gear other that park or neutral or if the manual transmission's clutch pedal isn't depressed ALL THE WAY, or if you have a kill switch on it. If the car shuts off power to the radio and more specifically if it blacks out the indicators it means that the car is refusing to start the engine, not that it can't start the engine. If you are stepping on the clutch properly or have it in the right gear (auto) and it still won't start you might want to check on any sensors that tell the car where the clutch pedal or gear shifter are. You might also want to check on any electronic anti theft devices you have in the car: if they are worn or damaged than they might be stopping the engine from starting.

SOURCE: kawasaki z1000 wont start and the f1 light flashes

The flashing FI is telling you that the Fuel Injection computer has detected a problem in the system. Some problems are minor (dirty air filter) and the computer will still allow the bike to run. Some problems are major (plugged up injectors) and the computer will not allow the engine to start. You will need to have a dealer check the computer diagnostic reading to find out where the problem is.
Can I get a “very helpful” rating on this answer?

SOURCE: f1 code on my 2006 suzuki gsxr

When the red light comes on, eg (F1) use these fault codes to find your problem. To extract the codes from the computer system, there is a two pinned connector hanging out of the wiring harness, on the left hand rear of the bike, (say above the pillion foot peg under rear trim. Be sure not to confuse the other connector used by the Suzuki Workshop Mechanics, as this has four or five wires to the connector) After locating the one with only two wires at the back, use a split pin or paper clip to bridge the two wires togeather and turn the ignition to the ON position. You should now be able to read the code on the console. The fault codes are as follows,,
**** GSXR Fuel Injection (FI) Code List:*****
C14 - THROTTLE POSITION SENSOR
C15 - ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR C21 - INTAKE AIR TEMPERATURE SENSOR
C22 - ATMOSPHERIC PRESSURE SENSOR

My 2005 gsxr750 says f1 on instrument Panel fires for 3 revolutions then stops what is f1 and how do I fix it

f1 is just telling you that there is a fault, to get the fault code you need to locate a two wire capped off connector(cap may be missing) this i think is on left side of bike in line with rear peg and just under the trim(seat) use a paper clip pushed ito the connectors to join the two wires, turn on the ignition but DONT START THE BIKE you will now see a fault code on the dash ie c34 etc this tells you the fault itself. get back to me with this and i can help further

1999 isuzu npr how do you get transmission codes without a scanner?

Use a paper clip to connect terminals #4 & #11 of the DLC (OBDII) 16 pin connector located near the driver side kick panel. Turn the ignition to the ON position, DO NOT START. The CHECK TRANS light on the dash will flash any stored trouble codes. Codes will be repeated three times each. Flashing will continue until the jumper wire (paper clip) is removed. I just bought a 2008 Suzuki B-King and it keeps flashing the fi code and the fi light is on. It has aftermarket exhaust on it, how do I stop it from flashing because it wont let me see the trip meter at...

Take it to the shop and have them read the error code. The flashing is an error code and wont stop till you fix the problem or shop resets the code for you... That is my experiences with these issues....

I hope that this helps you and please do not forget to rate/vote and place a testimonial on my advice.

Where is the computer test port on a 1995 isuzu rodeo

This is straight from Haynes Repair Manual for 1989-1997 Isuzu Amigo/Rodeo/Honda Passport (book # 47017:
The 12 pin Assembly Line Data Link (ALDAL) terminal is located under the dash on the driver's side on 3.1L engines. To retrieve the trouble codes, connect a jumper wire to terminals A and B. It may be covered with a plastic cover. They suggest using a paper clip to jumper the two terminals-then turn ignition switch to ON position (NOT ENGINE START). Check engine light on dash will flash-one flash-a pause-then two short flashes-indicating code 12-diagnostic mode. After self checking-if there are any trouble codes-the light will flash proper codes using mentioned method.Note the flash code then call a shop with your info for what ails your Rodeo.

Yes have 2006 gsxr 600 it flashs F1 will not crank

there is a plug under your seat with 2 wires that you need to short out. The fI code is a dealer code like a check engine light on your car. You need the actual problem code. turn the bike on and keep it running short out the two wires in a white harness under your seat and then the f1 will change to a C## code.

C15 - ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR

Where is the outlet to plug in a code reader on a 92 acura vigor?

You are WRONG Guru!!!!!!! Elpachuko is right!! BUT, if your check engine light is on and you want to know why there is a way!! On the passenger side of the center console, underneath the dash, pull the carpet down, you should be right at the wiring going into the the back of the stereo,THERE IS A 4 PRONG PLUG THERE NOT PLUNGED INTO ANYTHING,IT ONLY HAS 2 WIRES GOING TO IT!! Plug a paper clip into the 2 wires and turn on the egnition! the check engine light will start flashing,a series of short flashes will be a single digit code, long fashes followed by short flashes will be a double digit code!! This also works to trouble shot your ABS system!!!
