SOURCE: lost ignition key to motorcycle need key code

Just take you registration down to your dealer, and they will cut a key using the VIN to determine key code. Hope this helps.

SOURCE: have a 1982 suzuki motorcycle gs1100gk starter

Actually no this happened because the bolt holding the magneto on was not properly tighten to the correct torque a loose rotor will shear the key remove the rotor and inspect the key way remove what left and install a new set key and properly torque the bolt.

I have a 1982 Suzuki RM-125. I am having difficulty removing the cylinder head and cylinder, all bolts have been removed. It's just really stuck

Here's the easiest way:

Put the head bolts back on snug. Put the spark plug back in snug. Put the cylinder base nuts back on but leave them about 1/4" away from seat. Now give the kickstarter a swift hit down - you can do this by hand. Repeat until the cylinder pops up. Now, loosen the head nuts and repeat.

This is the easiest way to remove a cylinder.

Hope this helps.

My 1982 gs550 L will start fine but when it turns off the main fuse will blow every single time!

If you don't start the bike....just turn it on and off...does the fuse blow...or only if engine starts and stops?

If not starting engine still blows fuse, and it only blows shutting key off...I would inspect ignition switch for a short.

I have a 1982 Honda GW. Gas has accumulated inside. The starter went. Do I have to get the gas out before it hydolocks? My email is [email protected]

hi i presume you mean inside the cylinders, if so it would be recomended that you remove all fuel from the cylinders as you clearly know the dangers of the exsess fuel , also the spark plugs would be constantly wet and the engine would not fire, remove the spark plugs isollate the ignition coils to avoid ignition of the fuel, and turn over the engine to remove the fuel in a well ventilated area, hope this helps

sounds like a new coil pack is needed. might be expensive try a breakers or on-line. if it has contact points try replacing the condenser as these are relativrly cheap
