Sounds like you have a vacuum leak. Use a can of brake parts cleaner to check for the leak. Spray you vacuum lines and listen for the engine RPM to change and when it dose you will have found your leak.

High idle 2003 dodge ram 1500 changed the TPS it helped a little, reset the ECM that helped a little more. still idles high till it warms up then occasional high idle should i change the IACM?

It is normal for vehicles to idle high until warm up.
First thing I would do is scan the vehicle for codes.
Otherwise you will be changing things until the end of days. It could be a vacuum leak, maf sensor, air filter, spark plug, battery cables/voltage.

I have a 1989 Mazda 323, when cold engine idles very high, when very cold it idles so high that rev limiter kicks in, and it revs up, limiter kicks in, revs up limiter kicks in, once it warms up idle drops...

Have it looked at by a dealer, iam not sure here but i think you have a vacumn leak like the feed pipe to the servo split but really you need a mechanic who works on these cars day in day out and they will go straight too the problem for you

Idles high when cold 2004 jetta 1.8 t

This is normal. The ECM monitors engine temperature and increases idle when it sees the engine is cold. The ECM sets the idle back to normal when engine temperature rises.

My 97 grand prix idles fast when i start it, normally, if i let it run for a little bit, i can shut the engine off and restart it and it gets better...any ideas?

It runs fast because the choke and or high idle are set. This is normal, after it warms up, give it a little gas and let off, it should idle down.

While driving car has trouble shifting into gear , and when parked it idles to high.

Make sure high idle linkage is allowing it to kick down after it warms. otherwise back out idle screw.
