When riding my 2011 Yamaha grizzly 700 about 1/2 throttle it shuts down and when I get in water or mud it like it loses power what would it be

Hi Curtis:
Considering the age of the machine I'd be looking at basic maintenance first. Things like air filter, fuel filter, carb condition, spark plugs, oil and oil filter change. Then start thinking about valve condition and clearances.

300 grizzly yamaha 2wd. Was running fine. just died. Will turn over great, but will not start. It will not even try to start

Have you tried replacing the spark plug?...Put a new one in it anyway - you ELIMINATE a problem very inexpensively!

Do you have gas in it?

Is there gas in the float bowl? There is a screw or bolt in the very bottom of the carb float bowl, loosen it and gas should flow out freely. If not. there is the first problem I would get repaired.

Keep me posted and if this doe not fix it, we'll try other options.

The reverse light is blinking when in park, will not go over 10 miles an hour and chokes out when idling up the throttle?

Have you checked your belt condition? I have a grizzly 700 & it cut down to 10mph max and sputtered when my belt shredded in the housing. I think it does this to maintain what belt is left and to keep from damaging parts. I never had the blinking light that I can recall though. just a thought.
