Why dont I have spark? V Star 1100 First lost my keys, had to hotwire bike, (still hotwired maybe this is the fault for no spark?) As the days passed I noticed the bike having more difficulty starting, this problem lasting 2 weeks before it would not start. Just kicked until the starter relay sang its song of rejection. Then I made a big mistake. Jumped bike with the car ON. Did the damage began here? Afterwards battery couldn't hold charge anymore, starter motor was sluggishly slow, had that buzzing from starter relay. Replaced battery and starter motor. Relay no longer buzzes, starter kicks and kicks...noticed there was no spark while on bike. Romoved and tested ignition coils , both sparked. Replaced CDI box, still no spark, replaced stator/pickup coil, still no spark. Tested kill switch with infamous toothpic-alligator tester, in kill position it lit up. What to do next?

This has been asked before, the link is below. The answer doesn't say how to hotwire it, but provides hints on how to replace the key. A modern bike is probably pretty hard to hotwire.
Well you can just cut the wires to the ignition switch and intall a toggle switch. However, you will need a schematic to know how to attach the wires to the new switch.
cant hotwire your vechicle has the PATS SYSTEM.your keys has transponder on it.the ignition switch antenna ring and immobilizer control module and ECM read signal emitted from the keys transponder if you have no keys or wrong keys the PATS SECURITY SYSTEM DISABLE IGNITION SYSTEM CAR WONT CRANK.CANT HOT WIRE CAR WITH THE PASS KEY SECURITY SYSTEM.older cars back in 70s you could hot wire newer cars you cant.
