Wont start
That will bypass the system per shot, but will not fix the problem.. The problem is the key cylinder connectors are worn and the connections do not generate signal from key to tell bcm to start engine. Cylinder/module must be replaced and BCM flashed...about 800 bucks at the dealership.
Turn your key on. Do not try to start the engine. Leave the key on for 10 minutes, until the security light stops flashing. Turn off the key when the light stops flashing. Then, turn on the key and crank the engine. It will start.
Turn on the key. Wait until the security light stops flashing (could take 10 minutes). Turn off the key when the light stops flashing. Now, turn on the key and start the car. This security system does this to prevent the car from being stolen for 10 minutes. You probably replaced the battery, or the battery went dead and you re-charged it. When this happens, the computer prevents it from starting until the key has been on for 10 minutes.
