Skidoos aren't really my thing being from Texas however if your unit has float bowl type carbs a common problem with bikes and atvs that have cold start only difficulties and the unit has sat untill carbs varnished up or have ethanol corrosion is this. The choke circuit draws fuel from a passageway in the float bowl itself. There is a brass tube on the carb body that inserts into a hole in the wall of the float bowl. this is the choke circuit fuel pick up.There is a very small orifice(jet) in the bottom of this hole that will clog and not allow fuel from the bowl to enter this circuit there by causing no enrichment when using the choke. The unit will normally start fine once hot if you can get it running but has difficulty when choke is required for cold start.. Worth a look. Good luck!

Why does my 1964 ford fairlane 500 3 speed manual trans. Run rough when not under load.

Hey Fred, I AM SOOOOO JEALOUS!!! My teenage years Saturday nights were spent in a 64 Fairlane...(4 speed - 390 - WOW!!)..
Any way.. your carb needs some TLC, a valve clearance setting-get a qualified pro to do this!!), new spark plugs (wires maybe) .. a new air filter.... mainly the carb needs a QUALIFIED PROFESSIONAL to clean and set it once you have put in the plugs/air filter.. This will eliminate possible rough idle issues and give the mechanic peace of mind when he is adjusting the carb.
Good luck...

Timing on a 1997 50 hp Evinrude model BE50TLEUC.Carbs has been clean new plugs refuse to idle and struggle to start.

OK.. have the carbs been professionally cleaned and set?
Has the engine been sitting up? - Check the compression.
If the compression is good and the carbs ARE clean and set properly.. check for air leak.. this will make idle rough and hard to start.
Check the choke and make sure its working properly.

I have a 2005 skidoo rev 600 sdi and it wont start it has spark and it is getting gas I don't know whats wrong

Air, fuel, compression and spark. check those, figure out what you don't have. But 9 times out of ten the carb needs cleaned. And that does not mean blowing some carb cleaner in there and saying "well I cleaned the carb and it still wont work" like half the guys on here. to clean a carb you must disassemble it.

81 honda accord runs real rough and backfiring out of carb

That is a car not a motorbike. Bikes only have 2 wheels. But you may want to set up the cam and ignition timing. it is only timing that will cause backfires.

Rough idle and backfire at low end RPM

Many can cause this kind of problem, such as your jets are starting to clog-up, you have changed your jet-settings, you fuel bowl is not delivering proper fuel amount even dirty and clogged air filter can cause havoc, your ignition timing (magneto) has jumped (out of sequence because it is weaker sparks power), etc.
To start, does it idle properly after a good 3-5 minute warms-up in the past? Check you carb adjustments.
If this happened recently and you have not done or change any settings, try using carb-fuel jet cleaner from STP or Valvoline, etc in your fuel tank mixture when filling-up. Good enough?

Air fuel mixture problem

if your plugs are black, the bike is too rich. lean out your mixture screw a little at a time until it seems riight. hard for me to tell you exactly when it's set without me seeing or feeling it myself.

My 89 jeep wrangler is hard to start it has a carburator,I have replaced the rotor, dist. cap.plugs, and wires, and gave the carb. a good cleaning, and it is still hard to start?

If it has a carb, then it also has a choke. Is it closing fully when cold and opening part way immediately after starting, then completing the opening cycle as it gets hot? Also, when you look down into the carb and quickly move the throttle, you should see a squirt of fuel...If not, the accelerator pump is not working.
Your problem can also be the result of improper ignition timing. If you have adjusted it are you sure you have it set correctly? (not saying you did this but I have seen timing adjusted retarded instead of advanced too many times not to mention it) Also on the subject of ignition...Is your spark healthy? You should have a nice blue spark that "snaps" when bridging a 1/4" gap, not an orange fluffy one. Ya can't start it if ya cant light it!!!
Some of this has got to help you...I've covered as much as I can think of!!!

Sewing machine straight stitch is not straight

It sounds like it is making a blind stitch, does it look something like this? -----v-----v-----v-----v-----v If so it might be on the blind stitch setting instead of the straight stitch! ;-)
