SOURCE: need to find specks on cylingder head for 1996 toyota tercel

The cylinder head bolt torque is a 2 step process.

First: Torque all of the bolts to 45 Nm (450 Kgf-cm or 33 ft lbs.)
Replace any head bolt that will not torque to the above specs.

Second: after all ten bolts are torqued to the above specs, the head bolts are then "Torqued to Distance"...

Starting at the center bolts, retorque all ten bolts an additional 90 degrees.

Hope this helps, the graciousness of a FixYa rating would be greatly appreciated.

SOURCE: Head bolt torque specs needed for 96 tbird 3.8

Head bolts are torque to yeild so you MUST use new bolts.
Tighten cylinder head retaining bolts in numerical sequence in three steps as follows:

  1. 20 Nm (15 lb-ft).
  1. 40 Nm (30 lb-ft).
  1. 50 Nm (37 lb-ft)
Loosen retaining bolts one at a time two to three revolutions and retighten as follows:

Long bolts:
  • Tighten to 40-50 Nm (30-37 lb-ft).
  • Rotate an additional 175-185 degrees.
  • Go to next bolt in sequence.
Short Bolts:
  • Tighten to 20-30 Nm (15-22 lb-ft).
  • Rotate an additional 175-185 degrees.
  • Go to next bolt in sequence.
Here is a pic of the sequence

How to find the rear turn signal connectors on a 1997 Vulcan 800a I am replacing the originals due to rotting of the rubber do I have to remove any body parts to get to them????

If the 1997 Vulcan 800A has the same rear finder side chrome
trim as the 1996 Vulcan 800B the instillation will be as follows. I can't remember
for sure if you need to remove the chrome trim or maybe only loosen it enough
to run the wires. Remove the seat, for safety remove the negative battery
cable, loosen or remove the chrome side trim, trace the light wires to where
they plug into. Each side will have a separate plug in location. Each wire has
a color, one will be striped the other will be a solid color, when reconnecting
the wires make sure they are connected back to the proper color.

Where do you fill the coolant in a 1996 kawasaki vulcan classic

Remove the instrument cluster located on the gas tank. There should be one 8mm bolt in the center holing it on. After removing the bolt, gently push the housing forward. Underneath you will see a small reservior with a radiator cap on it.
