This is a motorcycle not a motherboard as it appears to me so it is posted in the wrong category and not likely a Honda tech etc will find it under motherboards so it will need to be re-posted to motorcycles to get an answer

Need a frame for 2005 flhr what other frames would work

Any touring model frame (electra glide, road glide, road king) 2002 through your current model year. Do not use a frame from prior to 2002 because of significant fitment issues, particularly with the rear swingarm. All of the above assumes that you have all of the special tools and experience to do the job.

Taking the motor out of my dirtbike

The motor mounts at 4 points-cylinder head, 2 under the front of the motor, and the swingarm pivot bolt. In order remove- seat, tank, rear subframe, exhaust.Remove the motor mount at the rear of the head, leave the throttle cables on the carb, unplug the wires to the TPS and remove the carb.Bag it and tie it up out of the way. Remove top bolt of rear shock and the swingarm bolt, pull the entire swingarm and suspension back as far as you can-you'll need the room to back the motor up a little to get it out of the frame. Unplug the ignition wires, and remove the last 2 mounting bolts from the front of the motor thru the frame. from the left side of the bike, back the motor up and rotate the front toward you and it comes right out. Actually took a break from installing a fresh Honda 250 R motor to write you this tip! Good luck!

We are looking to buy a 19996 ST1100 and the swinging arm has been welded. Is this the correct procedure or shoud it have been replaced?

It depends on the quality of the weld. There is nothing wrong with welding a swingarm on an ST1100 as is shown here. Replacing a rear swingarm can be expensive.
If the weld is good, everything should be fine. If it's poor quality welding, a replacement swingarm would probably be needed.

I noticed what appeared to be oil leaking from the housing where the drive shaft connects to the rear wheel. I have a 2006 Honda Shadow Aero.

The first thing to do is determine if the oil is motor oil or gear oil. If the oil is leaking from the final drive end( gear oil ) it will have to be removed and inspected for bearing wear and have the seal replaced. If the oil is leaking from the motor and then running down the swingarm, the final drive and swingarm will have to be removed to replace the output shaft seal.
Thanks and I hope that this helps.

Swinger question

There is actually a part number change from the 2000 year model to 01. All other related parts are the same so I'm sure they are interchangable but something is different.
