Question about Honda Motorcycles
Where are the 30 amp fuses located
Wow! That's a good question. The best I could find is it's under the "faux tank". Not trying to shin you on over a simple question, but I often recommend spending a couple bucks for a service manual from say amazon for example. It's the best money you'll ever spend. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

You can pick up a complete owners/service manual as well as the parts manual on cd. I got mine for my GL1100, then when I upgraded to my GL1200, I picked up another set from the same person.
Contact Wanda G at email@example.com. I believe she still sells the cd's for around $7.00 including the shipping anywhere in the US.
When I got mine, she included both the owners/service manual and the parts manual. Pretty big to download, at around 200mb.
Manuals are good enough, I just rebuilt my engine, and all 4 carbs and I'm no mechanic.

Your local Honda dealer might have a friendly mechanic to give you advice, either way you will need a hoist and a couple of small trolly jacks to shift the weight from mounting to mounting to avoid straining plates and fixings. Good Luck! PS There are several sites that offer free downloads of workshop manuals, trawl through these first, - The Yeti

hi, the fist thing i would look for is rear brake (locking of brake pad / shoes). the transmission filler is the same as a car. look for a bolt 2 thirds down the gearbox face. it may be marked. if not check to see if a bolt / allen key on its own not fixing anything. i do'nt know much about bikes but a visual check can sometimes reap rewards gerry

I am TOLD that: Most motorcycle have the vin number on the steering head (that is located behind the headlight or fairing. If it has a fairing it will be hard to see. If the frame is the original there should be a sticker or tag located there on one side with the numbers on it and stamped on the frame on the other side. All HONDA goldwings model are located there..
I can't vouch for this being true on the Goldwing, but it sounds convincing
