Question about Yamaha Motorcycles
It gets a little involved because the left side cover has to come off the engine. Not difficult just time consuming. Drain the oil, remove all the bolts, take side cover off. You must take the clip off holding the gear on the starter, then the bolts holding the starter itself, and of course the power wire BE sure you disconnect your battery when doing this part. Best money you'll ever spend is buying a service manual from say amazon for example. It'll walk you right through and be a lot of help keeping your ride up to par.
