Check the air filter, plugs, or a restriction in the exhaust.

SOURCE: year of suzuki

I would say it's 2004 or 1999 (not sure if the year digit is 9th or 10th - 4 or x in your example). SOURCE: 2003 Suzuki RM 125 with no power band.

Scatter gun approach > thoughts to check out > > >
Clean and dry the air filter? Go back to a stock main jet, at least to check things out? Are "O" ring seals on the main jet going bad?Partial internal collapse in exhaust (remove exhaust pipe & do a quick run down the alley), Install a new stock NGK spark plug, Be sure battery connections are clean and tight, Be sure intake manifold and carb are good and tight.

Hope this helps!

SOURCE: 1981 SUZUKI RM 125 ENGINE IS REBUILT BUT WHEN I

Assuming little Johnny did not pour oil in the crank when no one was looking, you must figure that there is a bad seal on the case halves. Did you fail to use a liquid gasket when assembling the case halves? Dirt on a surface? Did you not put in new crank seals?

If able, can you " burn out" Johnny's oil by riding all day? Does more oil get in the crank? If Johnny is not the culprit then the engine will need to be torn down. The need is to find the sealing problem and then fix it.

Please rate this solution. Thanks clarkbd!

SOURCE: Smoke alot

You jetting is off on your carb. Raise the clip on the needle in the carb, if it still does it.....the it will need smaller jets.....see a motorcycle shop.Your bike is a two stroke and will smoke with oil coming out the exhaust if card is too rich. What raio do you mix your gas/oil at? Disregard the first post....he must think its a four stroke engine.

Can I fit a SUZUKI RM 250 Engine into a 2000 RM 125 frame?

Hi, Anthony sounds like something I would try when I was a kid but after careful deliberation 4 out 5 Suzuki Gods give this one a thumbs down, but just to be on the safe side you should give your local dealer's parts/service department a call to confirm it's just not worth the time trouble and expense you would be better off getting a used 250 bike. My 2000 suzuki rm 125 does not shift into 4 and 5

The bike has a bent shift fork (or two). The engine needs to come out of the frame then gets torn down in order to replace the forks. Sorry.
