first thing to do is to have the alternator checked out as the fuse blowing may indicate an internal short and therefore the battery is not being charged ( 3 starts and needs a jump)

C7 36 volt charger not working keeps blowing internal fuse

If the fuse is blowing before the battery is installed to charge, the problem lies on the circuit board. Since it is most likely a switch mode supply, you might try replacing the electrolytic capacitors first. Then check what should be a MOSFET, although some may have a regular bipolar transistor as well.

If the charger blows the fuse when the battery is installed for charging, the battery has some shorted cells that overloading the charger, or the contacts are distorted and being shorted by the battery

My 15 amp dome fuse keeps blowing. Car is a toyota echo 2003. The battery is flat and I have been trying to start it with jumper leads but it will not fire and the 15amp fuse is the only thing i can see...

Remove the battery from the car and charge it up first and then re install it.Some newer vehicles will disable the fuel pump if the battery voltage is low, even if it is jump started ,as it activates the anti theft system.

Alternator fuse blows

Kevin, chances are that when the new alternator was put on. The wires were put too close to something either hot or that it can rub on. If you do not find that this is the problem then return the alternator to the store and have it tested for internal problems. Bad Alternator can do this. Good luck
