There should be marks on the balancer drive and driven gears. The "pork chop" weight on the balancer runs exactly opposite the piston, ie; when piston is up, weight is down.

SOURCE: just pulled the shift pedal

the lever sits aprox level, but can be adjusted up or down on the splines to make it comfortable.
There is no real wrong position, as long as the lever doesent touch the frame or casing, up and down gears.

2008 ford f-150 -misses or cuts out at 40 - 50mph and between 1000 - 2000 rpm

Hey there. I'm not an expert on Ford's, but I had a very similar issue with my Mercedes S550 AMG. I'm hoping my experience will help you. What caused this issue on my car was two things. There was an oil leak running down a wire harness that caused the cam-shaft positioning sensor to mis-read engine data, that caused another sensor (that was trying to correct the problem internally) to go bad. That sensor was the Crank-shaft positioning sensor. This drove me nuts... I replaced the plugs, coil packs, plug wires and a few other smaller things until I gave up. Towed it to the "
Mercedes "Stealer-ship" to find out it was 3 (in my car) relatively inexpensive sensors that needed to be replaced as well as (on my car) a recall to replace the harness with an extension to keep.any fluid from doing this again.

IS that vibration related to RPM? If so the harmonic balancer and or the crank shaft might be out of balance. If it is not related to RPM, then you need to check to see if the shafts are all installed correctly and the motor mounts are ok. It could also be the tires flat spotted if they sat a long time.

1987 2.8 v6 Bad vib in engine flywheel not bal cranck.Internal engine

crank shafts are balanced during manufacture. The same crank is used for auto or manual so that statement is a bit off. However if you have not fitted the flywheel correctly and it is hung up on a burr ( dowel ) or is running with a wobble because the bolts have not been tensioned correctly and in the right sequence then that will transfer to the clutch pressure plate as well. Was there positioning dowels in the fly wheel that positioned the pressure plate correctly or did you rely on the bolts alone as that will cause an unbalance . Position a dial indicator on the bell housing with the needle on the fly wheel and turn the flywheel over by hand and watch for run out on the flywheel . There should be virtually none shown . If there is remove the flywheel and clean out the groove and check the crank for imperfections.

The front wheel of my yamaha 80 wobbles when I am riding my bike. what is wrong

There can be two issues related to this problem.
The front wheel can be off balance on the bike. This means you will need to balance the wheel using a wheel balancer.
Secondly the wheel bearing could be faulty and result in wobble. You will need to check the front assembly fully, check the suspension and shaft.

My 97 sunfire has a bad cranck shaft sensor. where is that located? would it also make the car not start?

Yes it would and will make the car not start. Your crank sensor is located behind your harmonic balancer, which is the large pulley that turns all the belts. THe one that is coming off the crank shaft.

I want to buy a new bike , may i know abt pulser 135, many were telling its a flap, is it correct

yes... basically the pulsar bike is not a balanced weigh more near the dome, due to which contolling the bike ones u apply front break becomes difficult... so chances of accident are more in pulsar...

If u ask my suggestion, better look around some Yamaha bikes in which u can get better bikes with almost same price and performance...with more stability than pulsar

What is the function of balancer in this bike.

A balance shaft is used to "counter" the throw of the piston, to smooth out vibration.

Harmonic balancer wobble will it cause any more

yes besides causing a vibration while driving and possible throwing belts the balancer out of balance can cause problems with the lower end crankshaft such as seal leaks ,bearings and if breaks off or apart can cause damage to engine and body

Remove yonder pulley and you will find the bolt holes are elongated. get another from a scrapyard (take the bolts too.) replace and you should be fine.
