Did you begin troubleshooting from the very beginning? Ignition key, stop switch on handle bar (often the problem), and follow the wiring. Best money you'll ever spend is for a service manual from say amazon for example. It will help trace down the problem and point out potential gremlins your bike may be popular for.

Honda steed 400 no spark at the plugs

Possible failure of the IGNTION SYSTEM. Check the voltage on the negative side of the HT coil and if there is no pulsating voltage then the electronic ignition has failed. It can be due to no signal from the transducer or a failed unit. test using a multimeter to confirm. remove plugs and test for a good intensity spark before fitting back .

I have a 1972 Honda xl250. It sat outside for 10 years before I got it. Alls it needed was a carb and it cranked after the 4th or 5th kick. About a week later it quit running. I figured out that it was'nt...

You are probably dealing with dirty, burnt,or shorting points. Try replacing the points located at the end of the crankshaft under the cover held on by two screws. You may have to install and reinstall the points several times before you can get the new points to work. Chances are the points in the machine are almost 40 years old. Also , Honda ignition systems run off the battery. In most Honda models if you do not have a good, charged battery , you will not get spark.

A 2000 yamaha grizzly 600 has no spark? I put a new spark plug no spark. I put a new ignition coil no spark. what do i do next?

The most common reason on ATVs with no spark is the pickup coil in the stator. There are test for the ignition system and if you will give me your email I will send you the procedure as decribed in the manual. I cant copy teh images to this format but can through email..

Cbr 400 g reg no spark from plug

Try a new spark plug, that would be your best bet, if that fails charge your battery and heck with a volt meter that it is 12.5V if that still does not work replace your ignition coil, they can go at any point in time :)

Honda with no spark

Check the fuses. Next, check for spark but with a new spark plugs. How good is the battery? Try a jump from your car battery. Is the kill switch on? Does the side stand have a kill switch? Is it working properly? Check the operation of the ignition switch and all kill switches with a volt ohmmeter. Be sure you have power coming out of the switch.

Check the wiring harness. Did a wire come unplugged? Are all wires clean and with solid connections? Any abraded or pinched wires? Is the bike in neutral and the neutral light is lit up? If no neutral light, check the neutral switch and neutral switch wire on center casing. If still no spark, get CDI system and coils checked at the dealers shop.
