Question about Motorcycles
I was given this scooter by my daughter and son-in-law (who had it stored in their garage for two years) when my car broke down and would have cost to much to repair. However the scooter has gone through a bushfire and was damaged (eg plastic melted)but my daughter's in-laws' house where the manual was stored was completely destroyed and therefore no manual. I am new to riding and would like to look up a few things (eg fuel capacity, how to set clock, there is a symbol on 'dashboard' I don't know what it stands for; why when it is turned on it flashes lights on the dashboard twice - don't remember this happening when first starting to ride). I'd also like to know how much it weighs - I am sure it is heavier than a motor bike I owned when I was younger (when in my 30's and now in my 60's with a L plate and in two weeks get my license I hope!. I don't do the mechanical side, I let the 'experts' do that for me. Also not sure about tyre psi for best riding. I live in the country and I don't think the place I take it has seen this model before.
If you contact Bolwell they should be able to help.

Testimonial: "Previously did search for Bolwell. Couldn't find the company - lots of people with that name however. Do you have any idea what the business name would be and what country they are located? Tried searching internet for manual also and all I could find was something about SYM Bowell Le Grande but when I clicked on it, it was a repairers manual and way too technical for me. I am new to scooters so I don't know whether SYM is a company that took over Bowell or what? thank you"
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

Newer fuels have alcohol in them,AKA ethanol. This will not mix easily with gasoline and it also has a tendency to attract moister into the fuel.Looking at your video,I'd say you have alcohol and water mix that has settled out of the fuel. The mix is heavier than gas so it goes to the bottom. The fuel can be carefully recover by syphoning it off the top of the alcohol water mix.Just be careful not to disturb the container while the syphoning is happening an stop it just before all the gas is syphoned off.

Have you checked the wiring to the lights. Sounds like you have a wire that has shorted to ground. Would also explain your battery drain. I'd check the wiring before the ignition switch since it is draining your battery with the switch in the off position.
