In my experience green is ground on most chinese product. Blue/white sounds like the pulse wire going in to the cdi box.

Would this help? From the stator:

  • 3 yellows to the rectifier/regulator combo;
  • blue & green from the pulser coil to the CDI.  The blue here is actually connected to the ground.  The CDI's ground wire is black/white;
  • (near the stator) single blue to the CDI.

Hi, i have a denso cdi no. 32900-19b20 for atv suzuki quadrunner i dont know where each wire goes to. there are 5 wires orenge,black/white,green,black,white/blue please help me. t.y


this particular year was very unusual because it removed the multiple inputs from magnetos and just went with a single (2 wire) signal coil (green, black) which will ultimatly go into the left side case behind the pull start. the white/blue wire goes directly to the coil. the orange wire goes to the ignition and will have 12 volts when the ignition is powered on, then go to ground with ignition off. the black/white is constant ground. this year was different because the cdi let the regulator do all the converting from ac to dc. it is also one of the haardest years to find a box for used.

On Asian versions of an 84 Honda XR200R, the CDI unit has six wires:
  • blue/yellow - pulse generator
  • black - to ignition coil
  • black/white - engine stop switch;
  • green - ground;
  • green/white - pulse generator
  • black/red - exciter/charging coil at stator.

The ignition coil has 2 wires:
  • green - ground;
  • black - to CDI

white definately goes to white. however you configure the red, black and blues will only determine which switch on the wall controls the fan or light. as for the bare copper, the fans typically come from the factory with a green pigtail screwed into the top of the downrod

Ok, the truck - org/grn goes to one of the sensor heater wires (wht).
The truck - blk goes to the other sensor heater (wht).
The truck - blk/blu goes to the sensor ground (grey)
The truck - yllw/wht goes to the sensor signal wire (blk)

Gsxr 750 no spark how do i test cdi


I've this data from my 1986 engine!

Under the left hand side cover there are 2 2-wire connections. One with a green and a black wire, one with a blue and a yellow wire.
Use an ohmmeter at R x 100 between both wires of a connector to check the pick-up coils: resistance must be between 130 and 180 Ohms.

The values of the ignition coil resistances are:
primary coil : 3-5ohms ( set ohmmeter at R x 1 )
Secundary coil : 25.000 - 45.000 ohms ( set ohmmeter at R x 1.000 )
For a correct measurement ALL leads must be disconnected ( also the spark plug leads )

The CDI cannot be tested with a simple measurement. Suzuki dealers have a special tool to test CDI boxes.
But checking the pick-up coils and ignition coils good will indicate an defective CDI.

The wires on the CDI:
Blue: PU coil 1 ( cyl 1-4 )
Yellow: PU coil 1
Green: PU coil 2 ( cyl 2-3 )
Blue : PU coil 2
Orange/white : +12v ign coil 1-4
White : switched coil negative side ign coil 1-4
Orange/white : +12v ign coil 2-3
Blue/yellow: switched coil negative side ign coil 1-4 ( and signal to tachometer )
Blue/white : ground

Thus, you must have +12V on both Orange/white leads.
