Never worked on this car to be honest but if the drive shafts are coming away from the gearbox end then i would look at the end of the shafts where they enter the diff as it could be that you havent fitted the circlips that hold the shaft in ?

SOURCE: how to remove interrior door panel pontiac G6 and replace broken

Remove any bolts/screws you can see then get a plastic crowbar and pry it off. Should have little plastic push pins holding it to door. Make sure you remove all screws though.

comes out of bottom. You need to remove the bottom cover. Then there is two radiator support brackets that need to be removed. Don't forget to remove the AC condenser bolts then lower it on down. Probably gonna take u a few hours to replace.

SOURCE: Power steering reservoir Pontiac G6

some G6 do not have power streeing pumps
they have ELECTRIC POWER STEERING
all depends on the engine
2.2 4cylinder have electric
3.5V6 can have one or the other
if you have a V6 then you will see the power steering cap through the engine cover on the right side if it has hydralic power steering

My 2008 Pontiac G6 with 3.5L makes a spring-popping sound when making slow speed turns - It has been doing this for about 2 years now -- how do I fix that?

That sounds like you might have your half shafts going (CV joints). It is a relatively time consuming job if you don't have the tools or the covered area to replace them. I suggest you go to a shop and let them listen. Then get quotes....BTW...it is not really a cheap repair.
I have attached a youtube video of 2007 G6 repair.

My CD player in my 2005 Pontiac G6 keeps reading CD error and won't play any CDs...

The cd player is old and the laser is probably out of alignment. You will have to replace it. I would find a local auto wrecking yard or similar online equivalent.

I recently replaced my passenger side CV axle as well as the CV axle seal due to a leak. After everything was installed I found I still have a leak and it has actually become slightly worse. The car is on...

It sounds like the inner seal needs to be replaced which means a tear down of the transmission it might be just as easy to replace the tranny but a good repair shop should be able to do this far cheaper.

Replace it. Tear the radio/cd reader apart to get your CD's back.

I HAVE A 2006 PONTIAC G6 DRIVE SHAFT ISSUE?

It's most likely the CV joints on the car, but they shouldn't go this early as they usually last at least 5-10 years.
I would assume your car is still under warranty and they just don't want to have to pay out of their own pockets to have it serviced.
