Temporally remove radio fuse from fuse panel under dash for about 10 seconds. On some models the main fuse under hood needs to be pulled to erase memory. But most only require the radio fuse.

How do I delete preset stations? I can add a new preset, but I have to go through all the presets to get to the station I want. I would like to delete a number of them.

The backup battery needs to be removed from the clock radio. Then, unplug the device from the wall and count to 15. Plug the radio back in and see if the presets have been purged. Unplug the radio again for safety, reinstall the backup battery, plug the radio back into the wall and begin reprogramming.

Now, if you really don't want to have to reprogram all your stations, I suggest you look at the company's website for a free download of the user manual which will give you step-by-step instructions on reprogramming the radio.

How to I delete an occupied preset and enter another channel

My experience has always been to replace the current station preset with the new.
I recall two process:
  1. The first locate the new station that you want and tune the radio to the station. Press and hold the specific preset for several seconds to replace the old station with the new.
  2. Tune the radio to the new station and press the set button if so equipped and than press the preset button. In some radios they have group 1 and group 2. In that case press the set button once for set 1 and press it twice for set 2 and then press the preset button.
Hope this has helped?

2003 Lexus ES300 How does one save Radio Statio presets? Going to the station and holding the button to save does not work.

Holding the button is supposed to work. This from owner's manual: PRESETTING A STATION:
  1. Tune in the desired station.
  2. Push one of the station selector buttons (1-6) and hold it until a beep is heard. This sets the station to the button and the button number (1-6) appears on the display.
Each button can store one AM station and two FM stations. To change the preset station to a different one, follow the same procedure. The preset station memory is cancelled when the power source is interrupted by battery disconnection or a blown fuse.
