It's quite simple. You start from pipes leading from the cylinders and work away from there until you remove everything (hoses, valves, etc.). Afterwards, you will need to close cylinder holes (you can cut the pipes and weld the holes, crimp/plug the pipes, buy aftermarket covers, etc.) and plug a hose leading into the air box (a simple plug will do).

Try this site:
http://www.tamilseythi.com/factory-manual-bandit-2015-1200.pdf

Once there their may be a small fee to access. Here's another site offering a book: Suzuki GSF 1200 SK2 SK3 Bandit 02 03 Manual Clymer If you want a free solution keep digging through the net and try your local library; many have service manuals.

Good luck

How to replace air filter suzuki 1200 gsf bandit

- Take the seat off.
- Unscrew the two bolts holding the back of the tank.
- Remove (unscrew) the petcock handle.
- Lift the back of the tank. I'm not sure the air filter can be accessed without removing the whole tank. If you have to remove it, it just slides back and up - there are no screws in the front of the tank. Pay attention not to disconnect the hoses/wires if you are just lifting the tank, or disconnect them all if you have to take the tank off.
- Unscrew and remove the battery cover if necessary.
- Unscrew the airbox cover (two screws in top corners).
- Pull the airbox cover back and remove it. It's held at the lower end by two plastic "teeth" - no screws.
- Remove the old filter and put in the new one.
- Put everything back in reverse order.

Refer to the microfiche above for parts layout. This is a simple procedure that shouldn't take more than 30 minutes even with tank removal.
